Setting up the EUT

Viewing the EUT Address and User Friendly Name

Each piece of Bluetooth equipment has a unique identifier called a BT address. This is in
the form of a 12 character hexadecimal address. Equipment can also be given a
meaningful name. This selection lets you view the address and user friendly name of the
equipment under test.
1. Press the hard key.
2. Choose “Equipment Under Test (EUT)”.
3. Press the key.
4. Choose “View user friendly name”.
5. Press the key.
6. If the MT8850A/MT8852A is already in a link with the EUT, this screen will
immediately display the EUT address and User friendly name.
7. The user friendly name can be up to 248 characters but will be truncated to 177
characters on the screen.
8. Press the key to exit this screen.
