Configuring the MT8850A/MT8852A MT8850A / MT8852A Bluetooth Test Set
Performing Continuous Wave Measurement The MT8850A/MT8852A can measure a fixed frequency signal to calibrate power,
frequency, and modulation. The CW measurement mode is intended only for the
measurement of continuous non-packetized signals and does not support triggering.
5. Press the hard key.
6. Choose “MT8852A”.
7. Move the cursor to “CW Measurement” and press the key.
8. CW Measurement is commenced using the [Enable] soft key and switched off using
the [Exit] soft key or pressing the button.
“Gate width” defines the measurement window. Settings can be made between 1 and the
default setting of 10 ms.
“Channel frequency” may be replaced with “Channel number” depending on the setting
that has been made at “Display frequency as” on the All scripts setup page (detailed in the
following section of this manual.) The default channel number is 2, with settings possible
in the range of –2 to 98.
Note: No results will be displayed in the modulation field if the received power level
drops below -40 dBm.
