3 Pull up the retaining

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

clip (which is located at

 

 

 

the back of the CD-ROM

 

 

 

drive) and slide the CD-

 

 

 

ROM forward to remove

 

 

 

it from the internal

 

 

 

chassis.

 

 

 

Note: Be sure to remove the

 

 

 

CD-ROM drive from its

 

 

 

carrier before returning the

 

 

 

drive to Apple.
