5.Do one of the following actions:

On a Windows PC – Type rawrite.exe to extract the driver image file to the blank diskette.

On a Linux PC – Type dd if=<imageFileName> of=<floppyDeviceName> bs=10k to extract the driver image file to the blank diskette.

Where <imageFileName> is the driver image file name and <floppyDeviceName> is the device name, such as /dev/ fd0.

Windows® Server

During Windows® Server installation

To install the RAID controller driver when installing Windows® Server:

1.Boot the computer using the Windows® Server installation CD.

2.Press <F6> when the message “Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver...” appears at the bottom of the screen.

3.When prompted, press <S> to specify an additional device.

Windows Setup

Setup could not determine the type of one or more mass storage devices installed in your system, or you have chosen to manually specify an adapter. Currently, Setup will load support for the following mass storage devices(s):

*To specify additional SCSI adapters, CD-ROM drives, or special disk controllers for use with Windows, including those for which you have a device support disk from a mass storage device manufacturer, press S.
