Making and Answering Calls

Tones

When making a call or using a feature, you may hear a tone.

Each tone has its own meaning.

ToneMeaning

Dial tone (steady tone) You can make a call.

Busy (slow repeating tone) The phone you are calling is

busy.

Fast busy (fast repeating No lines are available.

Alternating high and low You dialed a number
