Chapter 5. OSD Operation
F3: SET
This function allows the user to change the account password and set up a unique working environment. A separate profile for each user is stored by the OSD and is activated according to the username that is provided during login. The settings are explained in the following table:

CHANGE | Enables the user to change the account password. |
PASSWORD | Enter the old account password in the top field. Enter a new password |

| in the middle field, and then reenter the password in the bottom field to |
| confirm it. Press enter to save changes and return to the previous |
| menu. |

OSD | Selects which Hotkey activates the OSD function: |
ACTIVATION | [Scroll Lock] [Scroll Lock] or [Ctrl] [Ctrl]. |
| Since the Ctrl key combination may conflict with programs running on |
| the computers, the default is the Scroll Lock combination. |
|
|
SET | If there is no input from the KVM console for the amount of time set with |
LOGOUT | this function, the operator is automatically logged out. A login is |
TIMEOUT | necessary before the KVM console can be used again. |
| This enables other operators to gain access to the computers when the |
| original operator is no longer accessing them, but has forgotten to |
| logout. To set the timeout value, key in a number from |
| then press [Enter]. If the number is 0 [zero], this function is disabled. |
| The default is 0 (disabled). |

SCREEN | If there is no input from the KVM console for the amount of time set with |
BLANKER | this function, the screen is blanked. Key in a value from |
| then press [Enter]. A setting of 0 disables this function. The default is 0 |
| (disabled). |

|
HOTKEY | Enables / Disables the Hotkey Command function in case a conflict |
COMMAND | with programs running on the computers occurs. The default is |
MODE | enabled. Choices are Y (Yes), or N (No). |
