Sample Diagnostics results

If the diagnostics test fails, you may see a “Can’t Open Port” message. This indicates that another application is using the COM port, or the modem driver is not properly installed.

7If the diagnostic test fails, and this is the first time you’ve run the test, restart the computer and repeat step 1 through step 6.

8If the diagnostic test fails a second time, double-click Control Panel on your computer’s desktop to open the Control Panel.

9Double-click Add/Remove Programs to open the Add/ Remove programs window.

10Select and remove the Toshiba Software Modem.

11If prompted to do so, restart the computer.
