LensesWhich Lens has to be selected.
1 Determine the required screen width.
2 Determine the approximate position of the projector in the projection room with regard to the screen and measure the
projector-screen distance (PD).
3 Use the lens formulas to find the best corresponding PD with regard to the measured projector-screen distance for the required
screen width.
The desired lens is determined (the order number is given in the tabel).

Lens formulas to calculate the projector distance
For TLD lenses :
Metric formulas (meter) Inch formulas (inch)
TLD (0.8:1) PD = 0.84 x SW - 0.05 PD = 0.84 x SW - 1.97
TLD (1.2:1) PD = 1.24 x SW - 0.01 PD = 1.24 x SW - 0.39
TLD (1.6-2.0:1) Min : PD = 1.64 x SW - 0.09 Min : PD = 1.64 x SW - 3.54
Max : PD = 2.06 x SW - 0.12 Max : PD = 2.06 x SW - 4.72
TLD (2.0-2.8:1) Min : PD = 2.06 x SW - 0.16 Min : PD = 2.06 x SW - 6.30
Max : PD = 2.92 x SW - 0.23 Max : PD = 2.92 x SW - 9.06
TLD (2.8-5.0:1) Min : PD = 2.88 x SW - 0.15 Min : PD = 2.88 x SW - 0.15
Max : PD = 5.26 x SW - 0.36 Max : PD = 5.26 x SW - 0.36
TLD (5.0-8.0:1) Min : PD = 4.90 x SW - 0.01 Min : PD = 4.90 x SW -0.40
Max : PD = 8.16 x SW - 0.29 Max : PD = 8.16 x SW - 11.42
