Manually
If you c hoose not to use t he inc luded Setup CD for
adding additi onal c ompute rs or wirel ess de vices, you
can manually add these items to your network.
1. Locate the w ireles s-net work-c onnec tions optio n
on your computer or wireless device.
2. Select yo ur Bel kin Ro uter f rom th e list of av ailabl e net works. You
can ide ntify your B elkin Route r by lo catin g the networ k nam e
(SSID) from the card located underneath the foot of your Router.
3. Enter you r netw ork pa ssword (loca ted on
your network information card).
Your wireless device w ill take a few mome nts to connect t o your
network. If the connection is not made the first time, try this
process again . If y ou sti ll have diff icult y conn ectin g to yo ur net work
after t rying this proce ss a fe w time s, see the “ Trouble shoot ing”
section in this manual for help with connecting to your network.
note: In some cases you may be prompted to select the
security type. It is printed on the card for your convenience.
Using the WPs but ton
1. Start WPS Pu sh Bu tton C onnec tion ( WPS PB C) on y our
compute r or o ther W i-Fi d evice that y ou wou ld lik e to co nnect
wireles sly to your Router. Often there will be a b utton for th is
purpose in so ftwar e that came with t he dev ice, o r a ph ysical
“WPS,” “PBC,” or “Sec urity” butto n on the device i tself.
2. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on your Router.
The WPS light (small light above WPS bu tton) will b link g reen w hile
it liste ns for your Wi-Fi devic e. Onc e a co nnect ion is estab lishe d, the
light w ill tu rn gre en and then go out . If a conne ction is no t esta blish ed,
the light will blink amber. You may repeat the process to try again.
You can repeat this process for each WPS-enabled
device you’d like to add to your network .
