3.3Plug the Ethernet Adapter into the Computer

Plug the 25-pin connector on your Modular Parallel Adapter into the parallel port at the back of your notebook/laptop computer, holding the Adapter with the logo at the top. Tighten the knobs on the Adapter clockwise to fasten it tightly (see Fig. 3-5).

3.4Install the Self-Powering Cable (SPC)

Make sure that the computer is turned off. Plug the DC plug of the SPC into the small round socket at the back of the Ethernet adapter. Plug the other end of the SPC into the 6-pin PS/2 style keyboard/ mouse port on the computer. Turn on the computer. The red power
