•If you want the screen to respond faster when you touch and hold it, for example, when you touch and hold the screen to open a pop-up menu, change the Hover Period field to a faster speed.

3.Press the key > Save.

Show or hide the touch screen keyboard when you close the slide-out keyboard

If you close the slide-out keyboard while you're typing in a text field, the touch screen keyboard will appear.

1.On the home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.

2.Click Typing and Language > Keyboard.

3.Select or clear the Open Virtual Keyboard on Slider Close checkbox.

4.Press the key > Save.

Try the following:

•If you haven't done so, assign an application to the key.

•Verify that you didn't delete the application that you assigned to the key.
