What should I do when the BESMonitor status
shows “SRP Connection Down”.
Symptoms
The BESMonitor icon in the Windows SysTray indicates that
BlackBerryEnterprise Server status is SRP Connection Down.
Problem
Whilethe BlackBerry Enterprise Server is running, the SRP (the link
tothe wireless network) is disconnected.
Solution
You should check that DNS is set up properly on the server
machine.It may not be able to resolve or find SRP HOST (indicated
in italics because the value is variable), which is the Network
Address Node specified during install ation. To find out where the
connectionprocess is failing, run the BBSRPTEST utility.
