Toremove a user

You can remove a user from a BlackBerry Enterprise Server using
theBESAdmin tool.
1. In the BESAdmin window, select the BlackBerry Enterprise
Serverwhere the user is registered.
2. Selectthe user. Click Remove from Server to remove all ofthe
user’sBlackBerry information.
3. You will be asked for confirmation. Click Yes.Theuseris
removed from the BESAdmin window and you receive a
“successfully removed” message. Click OK to close the
message.
Purging pending messages
Somesituations may arise where it is necessary for you to purge any
messagesthat are pending to a particular handheld.

Topurge all messages

1. In the BESAdmin window, select the BlackBerry Enterprise
Server where the user is registered. Select the user, and click
PurgePending.
2. You will be asked for confirmation. ClickYes.Themessages
waitingto be sent to that handheld are removed from the local
queue, although they will still appear in the user’s Inbox.
(Messagesalready waiting on the wireless network will be not
be purged.) You will receive a “cleared pending messages”
notification.Click OK to close the message.
WARNIN G Once a user is removed, the user’s encryption key, filters
andstatistics are permanently deleted.
