Handset
Telephone receiver complete with cradle (ac- cessory).
IMEI - International Mobile Equipment Iden- tity
International identity for mobile equipment. The IMEI code entered at the factory includes the serial number, manufacturer and country code. You can find this code in the car radio pass.
International Roaming
Making telephone calls in foreign countries with your own telephone or your own SIM card using a different network operator/service provider. There must be a roaming agreement between your service provider and the for- eign network.
Mailbox
Electronic mailbox provided by network op- erators/service providers for spoken mes- sages. The mailbox can be compared to an answering machine.
MEM - Memory
Retrieves stored data, such as radio stations, telephone numbers.
MIX
CDs/CD tracks are played in random order.
MUTE
Switches off the microphone in the telephone mode.
PaX - Personal Access
Allows direct access to a function in radio or CD mode which was previously stored.
PIN code - Personal Identification Number
PIN 1
Prevents your SIM card from being used by unauthorised persons. You must enter the PIN code each time you insert the SIM card.
PIN 2
Code required for special functions.
If you have authorisation for the use of spe- cial functions with your card, you need a PIN
Both codes come with the SIM card and can be altered.
PUK - Personal Unblock Key, Master PIN Code, Super PIN, etc.
The PUK code comes with the SIM card and cannot be altered. Make sure you keep it in a safe place.
Radiotext
Additional RDS information provided by the station, for example, on the program broad- cast.
RDS - Radio Data System
Service provided by radio stations for more convenient radio listening pleasure.
The station name appears in the display, for example, rather than the frequency.
