Serial interface
Options for using the serial interface include transferring transparent data, con- trolling connected units or operating the unit with a terminal program.
The serial interface supports the RS232, RS422 and RS485 transmission stan- dards. The standard used depends on the current configuration (see page 83). Connection is via the terminal connector.
Terminal block
The terminal block has several contacts for:

❚1 relay output
❚Serial data transmission
