–Using a pointed object, press the Factory reset button located below the USB port until the LED flashes red (see page 17). All settings will revert to their defaults.
–Change the IP address of the VIP X1 if necessary.
–Configure the unit to meet your requirements.
Repairs
Caution
Never open the housing of the VIP X1. The unit does not contain any user- serviceable parts.
Ensure that all maintenance or repair work is carried out only by qualified per- sonnel (electrical engineers or network technology specialists). In case of doubt, contact your dealer's technical service center.
Transfer and disposal
The VIP X1 should only be passed on together with this installation and operat- ing manual.
