Cool plate™ Technology
Breville’s unique Cool Plate™ Element is posi tioned closer to the bottom of the oil vessel.
This results in a propor tionally larger 'Fry Zone', allowing you to cook 1lb of french fries in
less than 3qts of oil.
Commercially-Inspired Cool Zone
The Cool Plate™ Element is suspend ed in oil, creating a ‘Cool Zo ne’ at the bottom of the
oil vessel. This prevents heav y debris from burning, w hich reduces odor and ex tends the
useful lifespan of oil.
Increased Oil Life
Oil repeatedly heated above its 'Smoke Point' temperature quickly breaks down affecting
oil color, taste and smell. The Co ol Plate™ Element's large, flat, surface-area gently heats
the oil to its optimum cooking temperature. In comparison, sta ndard tube elements may
fluctuate up to 70°F hotter, damaging the oil. T he result is prolonged o il life and better
tasting food.
