OPERATING YOUR BREVILLE deep fryer
Before first use
1.Remove and safely discard any packing material and promotional labels from the deep fryer.
2.Wash the lid, oil vessel and frying basket in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe the outer housing and Cool Plate™ Element with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Place the oil vessel back into the housing and position the Cool Plate™ Element assembly correctly in the removable oil vessel. Ensure the oil vessel is completely free of water before adding any oil.
!The Control Panel/Cool Plate™ Element should never be immersed in water or other liquids WHEN CLEANING. Cleanthe outer surface ofthe heating element with a damp cloth AND mild soap solution or plain water.
This product is forthe deep frying of food only with oils of appropriately high smoke point. It should not be used for any other task such as heating wax or cooking soups or casseroles.
To avoid personal injury, always positionyour deep fryer well back fromthe edge of the counter or table. Do not letthe power cord drape overthe edge ofthe counter ortable or within reach of children. Always use your deep fryer on a dry, flat, stable, heat resistant surface.
Only usethe Cool Plate™ Element assembly inthe removable oil vessel provided, or fire could result. Never use in any other vessel or for heating any other liquid. After cleaning, place oil VESSEL back intothe housing and positionthe Cool Plate™ Element assembly correctly inthe removable oil vessel.
