2 Remove the packing
materials from the printer
Important
Save all packing materials and the printer
carton in case for any reason you must ship
your printer.
1Press the front cover release button and open
the front cover.
2Remove the four pieces of orange packing
material as shown in the illustration below.
3Hold the green handle of the drum unit. Lift the
drum unit up and then pull it out until it stops.
4Remove the orange packing material as shown
in the illustration below.
