Control Panel
LCD
The LCD shows the current machine status. When you use the buttons on the control panel, the LCD will change.
If there are any problems, the LCD will show the error message, maintenance message, or call service message so you will know that you need to take action. (For more information about these messages, see LCD messages on page 140.)

LCD messages
The message on the LCD shows the current machine status during normal operation.
Ready
Ko Yo Mn Co
The o and n marks indicate the status of each toner cartridge, Black (K), Yellow (Y), Magenta (M) and Cyan
(C)(where the n means blinking). When a mark blinks (n), the indicated toner cartridge is near the end of its life. When the replacement of a toner cartridge becomes necessary, corresponding o mark disappears.
The 
mark indicates the wireless signal strength with four levels. ( means no signal, means weak, 
means middle, and 
means strong.)
When an error has occurred, the type of error is displayed on the first line of the LCD message at first as shown below.
The message on the second line shows information for clearing the error.
