Keypad beeps and tones

Keyguard

You can set your handset to beep or play a tone when you press a button on the keypad or to indicate when your battery is low.

To switch keyguard on

The handset will come already set to ON.

Press the DOWN button to enter the Ringing and beeps menu.

Press the OK button to confirm.

Use the UP button to scroll to Beeps.

Press the OK button to confirm.

The display will show either Keypad press or Battery low.

Press the UP or DOWN button to display Set.

Press the OK button to confirm.

Press the UP or DOWN button to display Keyguard.

Press the OK button to confirm.

The display shows

highlight the one you wish to select then press the OK button to confirm.

The display will show

Press the button to turn ON or OFF.

Press the OK button to confirm.

The display will show Done.

Press the button until the appears in the box next to On.

Note

If the keyguard is active, the emergency numbers 999, 112 can still be dialled.
