Using the answeringmachine
The answering machine is operated
entirely from the handset so you will
need to put the handset to your ear to
hear and follow instructions.
There is also a loudspeaker on your
Diverse 4016 Classic which gives you the
choice of listening to messages via the
loudspeaker or privately via your handset.
Your answering machine can be used
as soon as you have charged up your
Diverse 4016 as it has a pre-recorded
outgoing message “Hello, there is
nobody available to take your call right
now. Please leave your message after
the tone.”
You must set the time and date so that
received messages will have the time
and date added. You can set the date
and time manually (see page 15 if you
have not already done this) or if you
have subscribed to your network’s
Caller Display service, the date and
time will set automatically as soon as
you receive your first call.
