Receivea call
Whenyou receive a call, the phone rings. The display shows
thecaller’s number if available or the caller’s name if it
matchesan entry in the phonebook. If you do not have a
CallerDisplay service, the screen shows
Externalcall.

CallWaiting
Providingyou have subscribed to your network’s Call Waiting
serviceand it is switched on, your BT Verve 450 will alert you
toa second incoming call while you are already engaged on an
externalcall.
1. You will hear the call waiting tone and the display will show
thenumber of the caller, or the name if it matches an entry in
yourdirectory.
2. Press toanswer the new call and your first caller is put
onhold.
3. Press totoggle between the two callers.
4. Press tohang up the current call.

Autoanswer
Aslong as you have auto answer set to
ONyou can answer a call by lifting the
handsetoff the base. If you have
switchedauto answer off, you will
needto press aswell.Auto answer
