Guarantee
YourBTVerve 450 is guaranteed for a period of 12
monthsfrom the date of purchase.
Subjectto the terms listed below, the guarantee will
providefor the repair of, or at BT’sor its agent’s
discretion,the option to replace the BT Verve 450 or
anycomponent thereof, (other than batteries), which
isidentified as faulty or below standard, or as a result
ofinferior workmanship or materials. Products over
28days old from the date of purchase may be
replacedwith a refurbished or repaired product.
Theconditions of this guarantee are:
Theguarantee shall only apply to defects that occur
withinthe 12 month guarantee period.
Proofof purchase is provided.
TheequipmentisreturnedtoBT or its agentas instructed.
Thisguarantee does not cover any faults or defects
causedby accidents, misuse, fair wear and tear,
neglect,tampering with the equipment, or any
attemptat adjustment or repair other than through
approvedagents.
Thisguarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Withinthe 12 month guarantee period:
Priorto returning your product, please read the
Helpsection beginning on page 67 or contact the
BTVerve 450 Helpline on 0800 218 2182* or email
bt.helpdesk@vtecheurope.comfor assistance. In the
unlikelyevent of a defect occurring, please follow the
Helpline’sinstructions for replacement or repair.
Outsideof the 12 month guarantee period:
Ifyour product needs repair after the guarantee
periodhas ended, the repair must meet the approval
requirementsfor connection to the telephone
network.
Werecommend that you contact BT’sapproved repair
agentHelpdesk Solutions on 0870 240 5029 or a
localqualified repairer.
Returningyour phone
Ifthe Helpline is unable to remedy your problem they
willask you to return the product. Where possible,
packthe product in its original packaging. Please
rememberto include all parts, including the line
cords,power supply units and the original batteries.
(Pleasenote that we cannot take responsibility for
goodsdamaged in transit). Please obtain and keep
proofof posting from the Post Office.
