Molte persone credono erroneamente che i tiri in salita si comportano diversamente da quelli in discesa a causa della gravità. Tuttavia, non è a causa della gravità, ma più uníaberrazione del sistema di mira usato sugli archi. Su un arco, il punto di mira si trova a diversi centimetri sopra líasse meccanico della freccia. Per esempio, mirando di 23 gradi in alto su un pendio la freccia si trova ad un angolo differente.

La linea di vista è 376 yarde, líangolo è -33 gradi e líabbassamento/tenuta del proiettile è 28 pollici. ARC non solo tiene conto dei dati balistici basati sul calibro e sul carico da distanze di 100-800 yarde, ma compensa anche ogni angolo di salita e discesa che influisce sullíabbassamento del proiettile.

In modo FUCILE, il gruppo balistico sarà visualizzato nel campo numerico dellíabbassamento del proiettile ogni volta che il display numerico principale mostra le lineette (bersaglio non acquisito). Quando in modo FUCILE viene acquisito un bersaglio, la distanza della linea di vista sarà visualizzata sul display numerico secondario. Líicona ìINî (pollici) si accende accanto alla visualizzazione numerica dellíabbassamento del proiettile, se líunita di misura e impostata su Yarde (Y). Se líunità di misura è impostata su Metri (M), líabbassamento del proiettile verrà calcolato e visualizzato in centimetri e líicona ìINî si spegnerà. Se la cifra dellíabbassamento del proiettile/tenuta lampeggia, aggiungere 100 alla cifra lampeggiante.
