Winkel-Entfernungskompensation (ARC)

Der Legend® 1200 ARC™ ist ein hochentwickelter Spitzen-Laserentfernungsmesser mit einem eingebauten, auf einem Beschleunigungssensor beruhenden Neigungsmesser, der digital den präzisen Winkel von -90 bis +90 Grad Höhe anzeigt und auf +/- 1,0 Grad genau ist.

Der Bushnell® Legend 1200 ARC löst ein Problem, mit dem Jäger seit Jahren zu kämpfen haben. Das Problem: Die Jagd mit Bogen und Gewehr wurde stets durch extreme Geländeanstiegs- und Abfallwinkeln erschwert, da diese Winkel die wahre horizontale Distanz zum Ziel verändern. Die Lösung: Der integrierte Neigungsmesser von ARC liefert einen Höhenwinkel und ermöglicht so beim Anvisieren von Zielobjekten, die sich auf einer Anhöhe oder in einem Talgrund befinden, eine Entfernungskompensation. Diese Daten werden dann mit geräteinternen algorithmischen Ballistikformeln kombiniert.

ARC-(Winkelentfernungskompensation)-Modi

Bogen-Modus (): Zeigt die Visierliniendistanz, den Höhengrad und die wahre horizontale Distanz zwischen 5 und 99 Yards / Metern sowie eine maximale Neigung von +/- 90° an.

Gewehrmodus ( ): Berechnet und zeigt den Geschossabfall am Ziel in Zoll oder Zentimetern oder Bogenminuten. Der Geschossabfall ergibt sich aus der Visierliniendistanz zum Ziel, dem Höhengrad und den spezifischen ballistischen Eigenschaften von Kaliber und Ladung. Beim Anvisieren des Ziels werden mit einer maximalen Neigung von +/- 90° in einem Bereich zwischen 100 und 800 Yard/Metern die Visierlinie, der Höhengrad und der Geschossabfall/ Haltepunkt in Zoll oder Zentimetern oder Bogenminuten angezeigt. Der Benutzer kann eine der acht Ballistikgruppen (gekennzeichnet als A, B, C, D, E, F, G und H) für Zentralfeuergewehre und der zwei Ballistikgruppen (gekennzeichnet als I und J) für Schwarzpulvergewehre/Vorderlader auswählen, wobei jede Formel eine bestimmte Kombination aus Kaliber und Ladung darstellt. Die Ballistikgruppen werden vom Benutzer im SET-UP- (Einricht-) Menü gewählt.
