Una vez seleccionado este modo, pulse el botón POWER (de encendido) para encender la unidad. Luego, alinee el círculo de puntería sobre el objeto cuya distancia desea medir. A continuación, pulse sin soltar el botón POWER (de encendido) y desplace el láser lentamente por encima del objeto, hasta que un círculo rodee al indicador Brush. Si el haz del rayo láser reconoció más de un objeto (es decir, la rama de árbol en primer plano y un ciervo en el fondo), se visualizará la distancia hasta el objeto más lejano (es decir, el ciervo) y un círculo rodeará al indicador Brush, informándole al usuario que la distancia hasta el objeto más lejano se está visualizando en la Pantalla LCD (Figura 2). Hay veces en que el haz del rayo láser sólo ve un objeto en su trayecto. En dicho caso, se podrá visualizar la distancia pero -dado que no se adquirió más de un objeto- no habrá un círculo que rodee al indicador Brush.

CONSEJO: Mientras pulsa el botón POWER (de encendido), puede desplazar el dispositivo lentamente de objeto en objeto e intencionalmente forzar al láser a impactar sobre múltiples objetos, con el fin de asegurarse de estar visualizando solamente el objeto más lejano reconocido por el rayo láser.
