BEISPIEL BOGENMODUS

Die Visierliniendistanz beträgt 32 Yard, der Winkel -44 Grad, und die Distanz mit Winkelentfernungskompensation 23 Yard. “ “ bedeutet “abspielen” oder “schießen als”, d.h. statt mit 32 Yard wird mit 23 Yard geschossen. Falls Sie über 32 Yard schießen sollten, würden Sie aufgrund des starken Winkels über das Tier hinweg schießen.

Im BOGEN-Modus erscheint die Visierliniendistanz in der Haupt-Ziffernanzeige, während die Neigung und die horizontale Distanz in der Neben-Ziffernanzeige erscheinen. InTests und Interviews mit bekannten Bogenjagdexperten konnte Bushnell feststellen, dass mehrere Ballistikgruppen für das Jagen mit dem Bogen überflüssig sind. Bogenjäger benötigen die wahre horizontale Distanz, da sie das Bogenschießen auf diese Weise üben; sobald sie diese kennen, können sie alle notwendigen Anpassungen selbst vornehmen. Andere Daten zusätzlich zur horizontalen Distanz könnten einen Bogenbenutzer daher eher verwirren und verunsichern.
