Padrão com SCAN automático (Indicador no LCD ñ nenhum) Este ajuste permite que a maioria dos alvos se encontre até 1.200 jardas de distância. Usado para alvos moderadamente reflexivos, que são típicos da maioria das situações de distanciamento. A distância mínima no modo padrão é de 5 jardas. Para usar o recurso de SCAN Automático, basta pressionar o botão POWER por aproximadamente 3 segundos e movimentar o telêmetro de objeto a objeto mantendo esse botão pressionado. O SCAN automático permite fazer medidas contínuas atualizadas da distância à medida que se mira objetos diversos.

BullsEye™ (Indicador no LCD - ) Este modo avançado permite fácil aquisição de pequenos alvos e animais, ignorando as distâncias de alvos no plano de fundo que possuem sinais de maior intensidade. Quando mais de um objeto tiver sido captado, a distância do objeto mais próximo será exibida e um retículo circundará o indicador BullsEye™, informando ao usuário que a distância do objeto mais próximo é a que aparece no LCD. Uma vez nesse modo, aperte o botão POWER para ligar a unidade. Em seguida, alinhe o retículo circular com o objeto (p.ex., cervo) cuja distância pretenda medir. Pressione e mantenha o botão POWER pressionado, movimente o laser lentamente sobre o cervo até que os fios do retículo circundem o indicador BullsEye. Se o feixe de laser reconhecer mais de um objeto (como,

por exemplo, o cervo e árvores ao fundo), será exibida a distância do objeto mais próximo (neste caso o cervo) e os fios do retículo ficarão em volta do indicador BullsEye, informando ao usuário que a distância até o objeto mais próximo está sendo exibida no LCD (Figura 1). Há situações em que o feixe laser identifica apenas um objeto em seu trajeto. Neste caso, a distância será mostrada, mas como não se obtém a distância de mais de um objeto, um círculo não circundará o indicador BullsEye.

DICA: Ao apertar o botão POWER, você pode movimentar lentamente o dispositivo de objeto a objeto e, intencionalmente, forçar o laser a atingir vários objetos, para assegurar que somente os objetos mais próximos sejam reconhecido pelo laser.
