Una vez seleccionado este modo, pulse el botón POWER (de encendido) para encender la unidad. Luego, alinee el círculo de puntería sobre el objeto (es decir, un ciervo) cuya distancia desea medir. A continuación, pulse sin soltar el botón POWER (de encendido) y desplace el láser lentamente por encima del ciervo, hasta que la cruz reticular rodee al indicador BullsEye. Si el haz del rayo láser reconoció másde un objeto (es decir, el ciervo y los árboles del fondo), se visualizará la distancia hasta el objeto más cercano (es decir, el ciervo) y una cruz reticular rodeará el indicador BullsEye, informándole al usuario que la distancia hasta el objeto más cercano se está visualizando en la Pantalla LCD- (Figura 1). Hay veces en que el haz del rayo láser sólo ve un objeto en su trayecto. En dicho caso, se podrá visualizar la distancia pero -dado que no se adquirió más de un objeto- no habrá una cruz reticular que rodee al indicador BullsEye.

CONSEJO: Mientras pulsa el botón POWER (de encendido), puede desplazar el dispositivo lentamente de objeto en objeto e intencionalmente forzar al láser a impactar sobre múltiples objetos, con el fin de asegurarse de estar visualizando solamente el objeto más cercano reconocido por el rayo láser.
