Standard mit Automatic SCAN (LCD-Indikator - keiner) Diese Einstellung ist für die meisten Zielobjekte in einer Entfernung von bis zu 1200 Yards (1097 m) geeignet. Zu verwenden bei durchschnittlich reflektierenden Zielen, die typisch für die meisten Entfernungsgegebenheiten sind. Die Mindestentfernung im Standard-Modus beträgt 5 Yard. Um die Funktion Automatic SCAN zu benutzen, halten Sie einfach für etwa 3 Sekunden die POWER- Taste gedrückt und bewegen den Entfernungsmesser von Zielobjekt zu Zielobjekt, ohne dabei die POWER-Taste loszulassen. Durch Automatic SCAN wird während der Erfassung mehrerer Zielobjekte nacheinander die Entfernung ständig aktualisiert.

BullsEye™ (LCD-Indikator - ) Dieser erweiterte Modus ermöglicht ein problemloses Erfassen kleiner Zielobjekte und Wildtiere, ohne versehentlich die Entfernung von Hintergrundobjekten mit höherer Signalstärke zu messen. Sollen mehrere Zielobjekte erfasst werden, wird die Entfernung des näheren Objekts angezeigt, wobei um den BullsEye™- Indikator herum ein Fadenkreuz erscheint, das den Anwender darauf hinweist, dass die Entfernung des näheren Objekts auf dem LCD angezeigt wird. Drücken Sie in diesem Modus einfach die POWER-Taste zum Einschalten des Geräts. Bringen Sie als nächstes den Zielkreis auf das Objekt (z.B. Wildtier), dessen Entfernung Sie messen möchten. Halten Sie dann die POWER-Taste gedrückt und bewegen Sie den Laser langsam über das Tier, bis das Fadenkreuz den BullsEye-Indikator umgibt. Falls der Laserstrahl mehr als ein Objekt erfasst (z.B. ein

Tier und Bäume im Hintergrund), wird die Entfernung des näheren Objekts angezeigt (d.h. des Tieres), wobei um den BullsEye-Indikator herum ein Fadenkreuz erscheint, das den Anwender darauf hinweist, dass die LCD-Anzeige die Entfernung des näheren Objekts anzeigt. Es kommt natürlich auch vor, dass der Laserstrahl nur ein Objekt in seinem Pfad erkennt. In diesem Fall wird die Entfernung angezeigt; da jedoch nicht mehr als ein Objekt erfasst wurde, erscheint kein Fadenkreuz um den BullsEye-Indikator herum.
