Sending a Fax

Enter the Fax Number

You can select from three sending met hods: memory
sending, direct sending, manual se nding see Chapter
2, “Basic Sending Methods,” in the Fac simile Guide.
Enter the fax number.

Start Sending the Fax

When faxing is complete, remove your origi nals.

To send a clear fax, set a high resolution. You
can set the resolution by pressing [Image
Quality] or [Density].
By pressing [Address Book], you c an also specify
destinations you have registered in advan ce.
By pressing one-touch speed dia ling keys, you can also
specify destinations you have regi stered in advance.
By pressing group dialing keys allocated t o one-touch
or coded speed dialing keys, you can also s pecify
destinations you have registered in advan ce.
Press [Start].
Dialling an overseas number may involve pausing
between certain digits of the nu mber.
By pressing [Coded Dial] , you can also specify
destinations you have registered in advan ce.
When <ORIGINAL SIZE> appears o n the LCD
display, press or to select the size, and
press [Start] again.
