Printing from Your Computer (Printer Driver)

Finishing
Enables you to print a document w ith a
combination of paper sizes an d orientation.

When you have trouble outputt ing with
finishing options, this en ables you to display
the [Advanced Settings ] dialog box.

Point
Enables you to print a banner page fo r each print job. A
banner page shows user name, date , and file name.

Enables you to set whether to per form smoothing.
Smoothing allows you to softe n the jagged edges o f text
and figures when printing.
Image Refinement
Enables you to specify the po int to start print ing. Depending on t he application
you are using, left, right, top, a nd bottom margins m ay differ, and printing m ay not
be performed properly. In thi s case, use this func tion to shift the p osition to star t
printing. Set the position i n [Upwards] and [ Right]. Thi s is useful for removin g the
header of a received fax docu ment, etc.
