Restricting Reception
By enabling this feature, you can restrict reception of faxes to only the numbers
registered for speed dialling on your FAX. This feature is useful to prevent reception
of unsolicited faxes (e.g. junk mail).
Follow this procedure to enable or disable receiving restriction:
■If you selected
ON in step 8:
1Press Function.
2Press Data Registration.
3Press OK.
4Use or to select SYSTEM SETTINGS .
5Press OK.
6Use or to select RX RESTRICTION .
7Press OK.
8Use or to select the setting you want.
• You can select from the following:
–
ON (Enable restriction)
–
OFF (Disable restriction)
9Press OK twice.
10 Use or to select the restriction type
setting you want.
• You can select from the following:
– REGSTERED SENDER
To allow reception from the
numbers registered for speed
dialling.
– WITH SENDER INFO
To allow reception only when the
caller gives its telephone number.
