22 Setting Up Chapter 2

Unpacking the FAX

Before unpacking your FAX, be sure to choose a suitable location for it ( p.15).

Carefully remove all items from the box. You should have someone help you hold the

box while you lift out the FAX and its protective packaging. Save the carton and

packaging in case you need to transport the FAX in the future.

Make sure you have the following items:

MEMORY FULL appears in the LCD when making multiple copies. Telephone Problems Cannot dial. Optional handset or telephone disconnects while you are talking. Printing Problems Alarm light is lit and the FAX beeps while printing. Printout does not match paper size. Printout is skewed. Paper jams occur. Printout is not clear. Printout has vertical white streaks. General Problems FAX has no power. Nothing appears in the LCD.
