Making a Telephone Call With Speed Dialling

Follow this procedure to dial a telephone number registered for onetouch or coded

speed dialling on your FAX:

1Make sure you have connected the optional

handset or a telephone to the FAX

( p.25).

2Press Hook.

• You can also lift the handset instead of

pressing Hook.

3Enter the onetouch speed dialling button or coded speed dialling code

assigned to the telephone number you want to dial.

❏Onetouch speed dialling button:

Press the onetouch speed dialling button you want.

❏Coded speed dialling code:

Press Coded Dial, then use the numeric buttons to enter the twodigit

code you want.

• If you make a mistake, press Hook or hang up the handset and start

again from step2.

NO TEL #

appears if no fax/telephone number is assigned to the

speed dialling button or code you pressed.

•

NOT AVAILABLE

appears if you entered a speed dialling button or

code assigned to a group of fax numbers.

4When you hear the other party answer the call, pick up the handset to start

talking.

5When you finished, simply hang up.

Printing Problems Alarm light is lit and the FAX beeps while printing. Printout does not match paper size. Printout is skewed. Paper jams occur. Printout is not clear. Printout has vertical white streaks. General Problems FAX has no power. Nothing appears in the LCD.
