Printing from your computer—Basic operation

Select to print a color document in black and white.

[Preview before printing]

Select if you want to display a preview of your document before printing to check how it will

print ( Software Guide).

[Print Advisor]

Select to use the Print Advisor to help you configure printer driver settings by answering a series

of questions.

The printer illustration at the left of the [Main] tab shows the current settings.



In [Device Manager], green mark ? is displayed (Windows Me). Problems turning on the computer Cannot print to a shared printer. Printing stops in the middle. Copying problems Cannot make a copy (the document or paper will not feed into the machine). Problems scanning See below if you have problems scanning a document to your computer from the machine. Cannot scan a document. Page 10-8 The image you have scanned looks dirty (or documents are printed with streaks). See below if you are having problems receiving faxes. White margins appear around the scanned image.
