This section describes how to load paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder and the Cassette.

Paper Handling

zRecommended Paper and Requirements

Note zThe machine cannot scan the area within about 0.04" / 1 mm from the
rear edge, and within about 0.04" / 1 mm from the left edge of the
Platen Glass.
zYou can also scan in originals that are up to 0.8" / 20 mm thick, such
as books. Set them on the Platen Glass in the same way as
documents.
