Batteries

zCharge becomes Severely Limited
If the battery usage ti me has considerabl y diminished, wipe the
battery terminals well with a dry cloth. The terminals may be dirty
from fingerprints.
zUsage in Cold Temperat ures
Get a spare generic lit hium battery (CR123 A or DL123). You are
recommended to place th e spare battery in y our pocket to warm i t
up before switching it for the ba ttery in the flash.
zNon-Use over Extended Periods
Leaving batteries in th e High-Power Flash c ould allow the batt ery
fluid to leak, damaging the product. Remove the batteries from the
High-Power Flash and store them in a cool, dry place.
If the Date/Time menu appears when the ca mera power is turned
on, the date battery charge is low and the date and time settin gs
have been lost. Please purchase a lithiu m coin battery (CR1 220)
and replace it as follow s.

Replacing the Date Batter y

The date battery is preinstalled at the factor y and may therefore expire
earlier than its rated lifespan after the camera has been purchased.
Be particularly careful to keep the date batteries out of the
reach of children. Seek medical assistance immediately if a
child swallows a battery since corrosive battery fluids could
damage the stomach or intestinal wall.
