Advanced Shooting Functions

Changing Shutter Speed and Aperture

Value Combinations

Automatically selected combinations of shutter speeds and

aperture values can be freely c hanged without altering the

exposure (Program Shift).

1Focus on the subject on which you wish

to lock the exposure.

2Press the ISO button while pressing the

shutter button halfway.

zThe exposure setting locks and

appears on the LCD monitor

(or viewfinder).

3Press the W or X button until the desired

shutter speed or aperture value is

reached.

4Recompose the image and shoot.

zThe setting will cancel after the shot is taken.

Cannot be used in mode.
