the image.

zFor continuous shoot ing, the flash can be in quick flash
mode (pilot lamp lit green ). In this case, light em ission may
be smaller than with full fla sh (pilot lamp lit red) .
zThe focus bracketing mode and the AEB m ode cannot be
used for flash photog raphy. If the flash f ires, only one
image gets recorded.
Flashes (especially high-voltage flashes) or flash
accessories made by other manufacturers may override
certain camera function s or cause a camera malfunctio n.
zThe following functions can be used with a Speedlite
220EX, 430EX or 580EX II*.
- Auto Exposur e (Use the E-TTL mo de with a 430EX or
580EX II)
- FE Lock (Not availa ble in mode or when [Flash Adjust]
is [Manual])
- Flash Sync (1st-curtain/2nd-curtain) (2nd-curtain priority
with Speedlite 430EX or 580EX II)
- Slow Synchro
- Flash Exposu re Compensation (W hen Speedlite 430EX or
580EX II is used, if flash exposure ad justments are made
both from the camera and the flash, th e 430EX’s (or
580EX II’s) flash exposure compens ation setting takes
precedence when the flash is set to E-TTL mode. The
camera’s flash exposur e compensation set ting will not
activate.)
