Display Messages

Memory Full	Memory is full. If you want to record more files, de-
	lete files you no longer need (page 62).

Record Error	Image compression could not be performed during
	image data storage for some reason. Record the
	image again.

Folder cannot be	This message appears when you try to record an
created.	image while there are 9,999 files stored in the 999th
	folder. If you want to record more files, delete files
	you no longer need (page 62).

The card is locked.	The LOCK switch of the SD memory card is locked.
	You cannot store images to or delete images from a
	memory card that is locked.

There are no files.	There are no files in built-in memory or on the
	memory card.

This file cannot be	The image file or audio file is corrupted, or is a type
played.	that cannot be displayed by this camera.

No Favorites file!	There is no FAVORITE file.

This function cannot You attempted to copy files from built-in memory to

be used.a memory card while there is no memory card loaded in the camera (page 79).

Battery is low.	The battery is dead.

File could not be	The battery is dead, so the recorded image or audio
saved because	recording file could not be saved.

The card is not	The memory card is not formatted. Format the

Card ERROR	Some problem occurred with the memory card. Turn
	off the camera, and remove and then re-insert the
	memory card. If the same message appears, format
	the memory card (page 78).
	IMPORTANT!
	Formatting the memory card deletes all files on
	the memory card. Before formatting, try transfer-
	ring recoverable files to a computer or some
	other storage device.
