NOTES

•The Auto w/Handsfree Mode will function after about five seconds.

•When the handset is closed, the Auto w/Handsfree Mode will not function, except when connected to a headset.

When the handset is open, the Auto w/Handsfree Mode will only function when the Speakerphone is on.

•Flip Open and Any Key are the default settings.

Auto Retry

To set the length of time the handset waits before automatically redialing a number when the attempted call fails:

1.From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Press

Call Settings, Auto Retry.

2.Select the following settings, then press the Center Select Key [SET].

10 seconds / 30 seconds / 60 seconds / Off

TTY Mode

You can attach a TTY device to your handset enabling you to communicate with other parties using a TTY device.

A phone with TTY support is able to translate typed characters to voice. Voice can also be translated into characters and then displayed on the TTY.

1.From idle mode, press the Center Select Key [MENU], select Settings & Tools, then press the Center Select Key [OK]. Press

Call Settings, TTY Mode.

2.A warning message “Enabling TTY will disable headset audio.” appears on the display. Press the Center Select Key [OK].

3.Select one of the following settings, then press the Center Select Key [SET].

TTY Full/TTY+Talk/TTY+Hear/TTY Off
