NOTE

The 3G or 1x service indicator icon on the top line of the main display is highlighted to indicate that the PTT service is available.

Calling from PTT Contact List (Barge)

1.From idle mode, press the Top Side Key/PTT Key to access your PTT Contact List.

2.Scroll to the PTT Contact entry you wish to call.

3.Press and hold the Top Side Key/PTT Key . Wait until the “OK to Talk” tone sounds and the message “Talking to” appears on the display. Speak while holding the Top Side Key/PTT Key .

4.Release the Top Side Key/PTT Key to let the other party talk.

5.Press the End/Power Key to end the call.

Calling from PTT Contact List (Alert)

You can send an alert to any user with Verizon Wireless PTT service. The user may answer or ignore the alert.

1.From idle mode, press the Top Side Key/PTT Key to access your PTT Contact List.

2.Scroll to the PTT Contact entry you wish to call.

3.Press the Left Soft Key [Alert]. The message “Press Top Side Key/PTT Key to Alert” will appear on the display.

4.Press and release the Top Side Key/PTT Key to alert the selected individual.

The “PTT Outgoing Alert” tone will sound, and “Alerting” will appear on the display.

5.If the called party answers the alert, “Listening to” appears on the display and you will hear the called party speaking.

If the called party chooses to ignore the alert, or if the phone is unavailable to accept a PTT call, an “Unavailable” message will appear on your display.
