Finally pull all fastening straps tight. (Once you have opened out the trailer body again.)
If you want to adjust the seat to a flatter position, loosen both of the top fastening straps and pull the other four straps tight. If you want an adjustment of greater incline, the procedure is the same but reversed.
Please note: Make sure you check all belt buckles are tight.

3.2.2 Securing on the CX1 and Cougar1 models
Correct positioning of the baby seat.
First connect the fastex buckles on the underside of the baby seat with their counterparts on the lap belt ends.
Experience has shown that it helps if an overall belt length adjustment of more or less 15 to 16 cm is made (measured from the point of attachment to the baby seat to the point of attachment to the trailer seat).
First pull one of the two straps at the front end of the baby seat through the corresponding

Thread the end of the strap as shown in the above illustration through the fastener in the baby seat and gently pull the strap tight.
Fit the second strap in exactly the same fashion. Now pull both straps tight so that the baby seat is positioned cen- trally.
