2.2.3.3 Centre-positioning

Start by securing the straps at the front end of the baby seat.

Illustration A

Thread both straps as shown above down in front of the telescopic tube.

In the centre of the trailer seat backrest, there are two straps for further securing of the baby seat.

Pull both straps as in illustration A through the two fasteners at the rear of the baby seat and pull them tight.

Lay the belts around the bungee cord and pull them back up also in front of the telescopic tube.

Finally connect the fastex buckles on the underside of the baby seat with the buckles on the lap belt of the side chosen. Pull the lap belt ends equally tight, so that the baby seat does not tip to one side.

Thread the end of the strap as shown in the above illustration through the fastener in the baby seat and gently pull the strap tight.

Finally pull all fastening straps tight.

On the Corsaire XL and Captain XL models it is important to ensure that the baby seat is set high enough and under enough tension, so that neither the baby’s bottom nor its back will come into contact with the trailer seat as a result of jolts during travel. Once all straps have been pulled tight, the front padding should sit more or less vertical over the telescopic tube.

Please note: Make sure you check all belt buckles are tight!
