Installing the Power Supply

Installing the Power Supply

To install the power supply, follow this procedure:

Step 1 Place the power supply as shown in Figur e B-11, then slide it toward the rear p an el. You will be able to

feel the chassis hooks engage with the slots on the bottom of the power supply. The same procedure

applies to both th e AC a nd D C power supplies.

Step 2 Connect the two power connectors to the system board and backplane. (See Figure B-8.) Connect the

system board c o n ne ctor first, followe d by the backpla ne connector. (See F i gu r e B-12.)
