Setting the Chassis on a Desktop

Plan for access to both f r ont an d r e ar pa ne ls o f th e chassis.
Ensure that the room where t he chassis operates has ad equate ventilation. Remem ber that electrical
equipment generates he at. Ambient air temperature m ay not cool equipment to ac ceptable operating
temperatures without adequate ventilation.

Attaching the Rubber Feet

To attach the rubber feet to t he ch as si s, fol low th i s procedure:
Step 1 Carefully turn the chassi s over s o yo u c an see the four small depre s sio n s m ad e f or at taching the rubber
feet. (See Figure 3-1.) The rubber feet are incl uded in the accessory kit that s hipped with your universal
gateway.
Step 2 Remove the wax paper from t he bottom of each rubber foot and press the foot into the small depression
on the bottom of the chassis. (See Figure3-1.)
