4.Touch on the right of the display and select one of the VSE basic menus.

5.Press the [ADJ] button.

6.Touch on the left of the display and select [DIFFUSE], [CAR WIDTH], or [CAR LENGTH].

7.Touch on the right of the display to adjust the item.

Each touch switches the value from 1 to 10.

8.Repeat steps 6 and 7 to adjust the desired item.

9.When you have finished adjusting each item, touch [RTN].

Notes:

•The screen displayed in step 3 appears, with the title being accompanied by "✓" mark.

Operation so far completes VSE adjustment. To continue to store the adjustment value to the VSE

11.Touch and hold [USER] for 2 seconds or longer.

You will hear a long beep, and the values you adjusted up to step 9 are stored to the VSE menu.

If you hear a short beep, the adjustment values up to step 9 are discarded. Adjust these values again as required.

12.Press the [SOUND] button to return to the original mode.

Selecting the P.EQ menu

P.EQ (Parametric Equalizer) allows you to compensate the entire frequency level range in detail by smooth curve using frequency compensation matched to the type of your car. The P.EQ menu can be adjusted only when the “SPEAKER SELECT” is set to “NORMAL” (cf. page 14) and “EQ SELECT” is set to “P.EQ” (cf. page 48).

•The factory default setting for P.EQ is “OFF” and for the P.EQ basic menu is “SEDAN-1”.

6 types of P.EQ basic menu are pre-stored to this function matched to the type of your car and the speaker mounting position. Select the basic menu to suit you car.
