The player does not turn on.
Ensure that the battery r etains a charge. Try replacing the bat tery with a
new one.
Try resetting your player (remove and rep lace the batter y).
Ensure that the Hold switch is dise ngaged.

If you are running Micros oft Windows 9 8 SE, ensure that the USB driver

tached to the player and the PC, or tr y using another USB c able.
If you have connected t he player throug h a USB hub, tr y connecting the
player directly to your computer.
